First day of Summer!

We got in one day, before it got cold, to go play outside in the water.  It still amazes me how water can entertain children.  My kids had so much fun in the water.

Brody's baptism

What a great day!  I had so much love and support from family! Brody's baptism started at 10:00 so Zane took him to the Stake Center to get him ready.  I finished getting the family ready and then we headed down.  It made me so happy to see Zane and Brody all dressed in white.
Zane told a talk about the Holy ghost!  It was very touching, he did a fabulous job.
Family picture!
I love how Brody and Zane have the same suit and tie on.
Cousins!!!!
Just the kids!

These two are so funny!  They do not get along most days!  We tease and say they are mortal enemies.  So I had to take a picture of them together, giving some what a hug! So I can prove, one day that they like each other.
Afterwards everyone came over and we had a nice dinner in the backyard.  The weather was perfect!  I wish I took a picture of all the food, but I was to busy getting everything ready.  We had a 9 foot sandwich from Subway, lots of salads, chips and cookies.   The night before I made about 8 dozen cookies! Rolo, Choc.Chip and Oreo!  They were good!

Hello Out there!

Were has the time gone?
In Feb. Trevin turned one!  Turning one is a big deal! Right?   I don't think he knew what was going on, but he loved all the attention.
He loved opening presents!
Instead of a big cake, I just made cupcakes and let him go at it!  Zane held his hands so he wouldn't touch the candle.

Everyday he acts a little bit older!  He loves playing hide and seek! He gives away his hiding place from all the giggles!  He loves to give kisses and hugs to everyone.  He doesn't walk he runs!  He loves the "kitty" and "cows" in the backyard.  When he sees the cows he puts his head back and says "moooo"  His best buddy is Papa Mitchell, when he sees him, he can't get in his arms fast enough!
I Love You Trevin!

Lanterns and Wreaths

I don't know what it is , but I LOVE wreaths! My heart skips a beat when I find one that I love.  So I got a new one for Valentines Day, and I had to hang it up.  So my front room is "Snowmen" for January and a little bit of "Love" for Valentines.   Thanks to Christmas gifts I also got some new Lanterns that I'm excited to decorate.
I need to find a cute heart to go in the middle of the wreath!

Now I just need it to snow!

Life as I know it!

I don't want to be negative, but I am so glad that 2011 is behind us.  This was a hard year for us!  It first started with Zane getting laid off from his work.  It was very stressful to have your husband lose his job and being 9 months along with your 5th child.  He started school in April, which made it so we never saw him.  To help with matters I got a job working for Target from 4am - to 8am. During the holiday season we had to work almost everyday from 3am -to 9am.  It was pretty hard to come home and be a happy mother/wife.  I take my hats off to all the working mothers out there!!!!   Zane is still in school, but is almost finished!  He got laid off again last month, but is finding LOTS of work in Davis county from the big wind storm that happened several weeks ago.  It was a stressful year, but it was also one with many good times.    Just wanted to add a few pictures of 2011
 Brody turned 7!
 Love his toothless smile!

Gavin turned 4! He was really spoiled from Grandpa and Grandma! As you can see he loves "Toy Story"

Trevin soaking his shirt with spit! He was my most slobbery baby.
Me and my hubby.  Not the best picture!  We don't have very many together. I am going to try hard and get more of us together.  ( he hates his picture taken)

Picture with Santa.  I'm sad that Trevin wasn't in the picture he was sick and had fallen a sleep.

Bring on 2012!!!!!

Ty turns 6

Ty had a great b-day!  We went out to dinner at the Pizza Pie ( very good ) came home and opened presents and had cake and ice cream.  He was lucky because he got two cakes!

The big wind storm

Last week we had a big wind storm that came through.  Zane went to a late movie and when he came home, he found are trampoline over on the neighbors yard.  This is what it ended up looking like!
He put two metal posts on the bottom so the wind wouldn't take it away.   We were planning on getting a new one around spring time, so it was ok.  The kids thought it was fun to play on it up-side down.  It probably wasn't the safest...but they had so much fun.
They found it a lot easier if they took their shoes off.  I can't believe it is Jan. 6th and they are able to take their shoes off and not freeze to death.

Zane was holding Trevin trying to keep him warm. I don't think it is working very well with his cute little toes hanging out. haha
