Poor Gavin

Last week Gavin had a little cold.  In the day time it didn't bother him, but at night when he went to bed he would complain.   In his cute little brain he thinks that Band-Aids make everything feel better.  So he wanted a Band-Aid to make his nose feel better.  This little boy makes me laugh.
He also wanted one on his tummy.... he LOVES Band-aids!!!

When he feel asleep I went and took it off his nose.  The next morning he said that he felt better. It was a miracle!!! hahaha

Summer!

This summer has pretty much been friends, water, and fun!   All my kids want to do is play in the water and play with friends.  We are lucky because we have lots of friends on our street.
Zane tied all the bikes that we could find together and pulled the kids around. They said that they felt like they were in a parade.
We have some great neighbors!!!!

Summer also means Sunflowers.... I love Sunflowers and I try to plant them every year.

My garden is doing very good this year.  ( Last year not so good)
Our apples are coming on good!   We also have a peach tree that is doing great!!

Summer also means water!!  My kids can't get enough of it.
It's sad but this is our biggest swimming pool we have.  It's for Morgan but the boys like to sit in it.

Give them the hose and they have a blast.  haha

They all have smiles on their faces.  Can't beat that!!!
Last picture I promise... here is Morgan sitting on the grass.  She knew I was taking her picture, so she was acting kind-of silly.  Little Girls!!

T-Ball

Brody just finished up the season playing T- Ball.  He loved it.  It was fun to bring a blanket, some treats and sit down and watch him play.
He took the game serious and tried his best at each game.  His awesome grandpa got him some T-Ball gloves and his own bat.  Which he had at every game.
The last game he got a little medal

Best day ever!

We went up to the mountains today...... we all had so much fun.   We stopped at one of the picnic areas and had lunch.  Right next to the table was this log.  Brody came up to me and said " Wow!  Mom I have never seen a log before, it's really cool"  So I told him to go sit on it so I can take his picture.  He wouldn't because there was to many bugs on it.   So they just stood next to it.   I just thought it was funny that he would just get so excited over a BIG piece of wood.

We made our kids were jeans in case we went on a hike.  Little Morgan picked out her DRESS and wouldn't let us put a shirt underneath it.  I thought the bugs were going to eat her alive, but she was ok.
After lunch we headed up to " Cascade Springs"  It was just beautiful!!  Morgan was just a little  cranky... she didn't get her nap.  She wouldn't let us hold her while we were there..... but she did let her big brother hold her hand.
I just love how kids get so happy over simple things.
They thought the fish in the water was so much fun to watch.

Can you see the fish????

My boys were counting to see how many animals they saw.  We saw mostly little chipmunks, but Brody saw a black snake on the path.  He has been telling ever one that he saw a snake.

You can see it on Gavin's face how they loved to be there.  Now Zane and I are talking about maybe investing in a little trailer so that we can go camping.

On the way home Morgan took a nap, so we stopped at my Mom and Dads house and had some cake.   Morgan was her new self again.  ( It's amazing how naps affect children)
Love this girl!   She loves to be my " helper"  She helps me make my bed every day.  She loves it!   She helps me take the clothes out of the dryer....  she is always at my side trying to help!!

Baby kittens!

Couple of days ago our cat had her first and last batch of kittens.  She ended up having 6 little kittens.  I was really surprised she had that many... for her first time.

Everyday my kids ask me if they can hold one.  I won't let them hold them until they are 2-3 weeks old.    (They will be loved kittens.)  The mother has been so good with them.  If they make any noise she will lick them and make sure they are ok.

What a week!

I am super proud of Zane.  He took 2nd place on his float that he made for Lehi Roundup.  He tried hard to think of something that would be fun for our kids.  He ended up building a "Pirate Ship"  The theme was " Guess what I saw"  He took that theme and made it " Guess what I saw..... Arr in my backyard"!!!   I don't think my boys will ever forget that their dad built a pirate ship

He made the cannons on the side and about every 3-5 minutes smoke would come out....he is very clever!
Now that it is over, the boys and Dad are talking about making a cool club house out of the ship...with a slide on top!.

Odds and ends

Things have been pretty crazy around here.  Zane is trying to build a float for Lehi Days.  It's hard when you have three little boys around wanting to help.   He has been really good to let them help.

The other day I was up stairs, came down to find Morgan.  She found a piece of chocolate, and she was loving it.

I don't know if all girls are like this or if it's just mine.  But she is a drama queen!!   She has a cute little fake cry that makes me laugh when she gets mad.  She loves " The little Mermaid"  she brings me the movie and wants me to play it for her.  She tries to sing like Ariel and is so adorable.   She loves to be outside and she loves the " Kitty"

I can't get enough of her cute little curls...they make me happy, she makes me happy.

Her big brothers are so sweet to her.  She tries to be just like them.
