Morgan's 2nd birthday!

Where has the time gone!  I still remember being in the hospital. I was in shock that I had a little girl! After having three little boys I thought I was never going to have a girl!  When they brought her to me, with a little bow in her hair,  that is when it hit me that I got my little princess!
I dressed her in a lot of pink!  And you can't forget the bows!

She has been so much fun!  The time has gone by so fast!
Now she is a little spit fire!  She loves her brothers so much!  Every morning when she wakes up, she runs up to them and gives them hugs!  If she gets hurt she always wants a hug from her brothers!  I hope she never out grows that.
For her 2nd birthday she got a "Dora doll house" She was trying to help her dad put it together.
Thanks to Uncle CJ she also got a "Dora" Chair/ Bed! She was pretty happy about it!  She thought it was so fun to jump off the couch and land on it!
She brought it up to her room and made her bed.  She got her baby and Minnie and then she was set.
I'm not sure if this is a girl thing ( my boys never did this ) but she loves to watch me do my hair.  She loves to watch me put my makeup on.  And sometimes I pretend to put some on her.....she loves it.

Playing in the leaves!

It was fun to get out of the house and go play in the leaves!  I think it's funny how much kids love to play in leaves!

It also teaches them to work!  We got all the leaves in the garbage..... until next year!

Christmas is around the corner

This year I got my Christmas tree/ Decoration's out early.   I just couldn't help it!  I love to decorate for Christmas.  Zane thought it was way too early, but what is the harm of it...right!!
It makes me happy!!

Halloween 2010

I had so much fun taking my kids Trick-or- Treating this year!  Morgan LOVED it!  She just jumped in front of all the doors and would stand there until she got candy. And then in her little Morgan voice she would say " tick or teet"  We didn't get a costume for her this year....we tried. I kind of felt bad about it, but she didn't know the difference.   We couldn't find a "Jessie" costume in her size.  But we did get her a hat.  So she just wore her "Jessie" hat and her cute little fairy wings.
After trick or treating we went to my parents house and had soup.  We had to get a picture of Woody and Buzz together!   Gavin loves his cousin "Luke"

This year Zane decorated the side of the yard as a "Mad scientist lab"  He did an awesome job!!  He even made a "Frankenstein"

He had a fireplace mantel with talking heads on it.  Two chairs sitting in front of the fire, with a skeleton  sitting in one of the them.

He made a two way mirror, with a black light that made it look really freaky when you went behind it.

Here is the witch with her "brew" and you can't forget the grave yard.  It all looked so great with all the lights and sound effects that were going on!
I am very surprised that my kids don't get scared with everything.  It is the opposite, they love it!  They loved going out and helping dad.  I think this is going to be a tradition!
Notice the black tape measure on the side of his pants...  trying to be just like dad.

At the end of the night we made cupcakes and decorated them.  I just let my kids go free!  They got to do what ever they wanted.

It turned out to be the biggest mess.  Morgan spilled one of the candy jars out and Gavin spilled a bottle of Root beer all over the floor.  They had fun!

Morgan!

I had to share these photos of Morgan!  She really loves noodles!  She wants to eat them everyday.  She also likes to eat them with anything that is pink.  I happened to have a big spoon that was stained along time ago from punch....and it happens to be pink.  So that is what she wanted to eat her noodles with.

I am in big trouble with this one!   She LOVES her  "Binky"  I need to show some tuff love on her, and just throw the dumb thing away.   When she turns Two...in four weeks it's gone.  For now we have a rule that she can only have it when she is in bed.   I catch her a few times a day going on her bed to suck on it.  When she is done she will put in on her pillow and go play.

It's going to be some hard nights when it's gone.  I should have thrown it away when she was a little baby!   She just loved it sooooo much!

I have discovered that I can't do hair.  I don't know if it's just still to short ( for me to do ) or maybe her hair is too curly.  I TRIED to do Morgan's hair and this is the best that I came up with.

She screamed pretty much the whole time I was doing it.  I give kudos for all the moms out there that can make their little girls hair cute.   I need practice!

On a side note.....  I am almost 21 weeks pregnant!  I can say that I'm half way over!  I'm hoping the holidays will speed things up.  I go on the 29th to have my ultra sound.  Still haven't decided if we are going to find out the sex of the baby.  Right now we are thinking we want it to be a surprise.
We also finished putting new floor in the main entry.  I love it!  Before it was light carpet, that got dirty really easy.  I love just wiping it down and having it all clean!   We went all the way in and put it in the kitchen.   Next project is finishing the laundry room!

Fall Fun!!!

Tonight my boys decided they wanted to have a marshmallow fight!  They got their guns out and had a big fight downstairs.  I came downstairs to see Brody going at it!   Even Morgan was helping, she liked loading the marshmallows in the guns!

Ty had the biggest gun!  It could only load one big marshmallow at a time.  But it gave it a very big punch.
If you have little boys this is a fun little activity.  When Brody went to bed he turned to me and told me that he had a really fun night!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons!  I love how things start to slow down.... including my husband's work!  We get to see him more when the weather starts to cool down.  I also love to decorate my house for Fall!  I get out my orange lights and Halloween pumpkins.
I think my husband wants me to make the house scary ( he loves Halloween) but I don't want to scare my kids!

I found these "witches shoes" at Tai-Pan.  I can picture a big, old, ugly witch wearing them.  Zane is trying to find green and purple socks to hang in them. The stick is a broom, you can't tell in the picture.  The book opens and closes by itself...... Zane found and bought the book.  He cracks me up!!
I hope everyone has a Happy Halloween!
